The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. This knife is elegant enough for dress carry while being a fully capable cutting tool. This version is equipped with a single edge, clip point blade of satin finished CTS-204P and black, hard anodized handle. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike.

Blade: A wide drop point blade is ground with a single, high height saber grind and sharpened to a razor edge delivering the clean cutting performance. The American CTS-204P blade steel was chosen for high levels of corrosion resistance as well as exceptional edge retention and relative ease of sharpening. The bright, machined satin finish offers excellent performance and a very classy look. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Robust, black hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 4.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for large hands without becoming cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with grey, proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip.
