This version is equipped with a partially serrated, single edge, clip point blade of two-tone black CTS-204P and blue, hard anodized handle. The Troodon is named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age and is ready to strike.

Blade: A wide drop point blade is ground with a single, high height saber grind and sharpened to a razor edge delivering the clean cutting performance. The partially serrated edge makes short work of fibrous materials like rope and webbing while the plain edge slices cleanly. The American CTS-204P blade steel was chosen for high level of corrosion resistance as well as exceptional edge retention and relative ease of sharpening. The two-tone, black with satin flats, blade finish is discreet and classy. It is engaged via a dual action automatic mechanism. Simply press the side thumb slide up to open and then back down to close. Simple, fast and smooth.

Handle: Robust, blue hard anodized, aircraft-grade alloy offers just over 4.25 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, substantial enough for large hands without becoming cumbersome in the pocket. The knife is comfortable in the hand, with contoured edges, while wide sections of jimping are perfectly placed for a secure grip. It is built with grey, proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip.

CTS-204P: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, CTS-204P has some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance available. CTS-204P is similar in performance to CPM-20CV and Bohler’s M390.
