The Microtech Knives Troodon out the front automatic knife is a substantial tool while still retaining a compact size that can be easily carried every day. Now available in a Mini version with sub-2 inch blade, the Troodon offers a compact cutting tool with lightning fast deployment. Named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian Age, the Mini Troodon is ready to strike. This version comes with a stonewashed, single edge Tanto blade and black anodized aluminum handle.

Blade: A sub-2 inch Tanto blade has a razor sharp plain cutting edge for clean slicing performance and a robust tip for piercing. Premium stainless steel delivers excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance with relative ease of sharpening. A rugged stonewashed finish on the blade hides wear from use with a subtly contrasting satin on the flats and spine. Reliably fast and smooth, the blade is operated via a double action automatic mechanism. Press the slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both positions to reduce wear.

Handle: Rugged, black hard anodized, aircraft-grade aluminum offers just under 3.5 inches of handle, excluding the breaker, for a solid grip for all but the largest hands. Comfortable in the hand, the handle has contoured edges and wide sections of jimping strategically placed for a secure grip. Construction is completed with proprietary Microtech hardware, integrated glass breaker end and pocket clip.
